Community Oncology Leader Jeff Hunnicutt Joins Navista as Chief Operating Officer

DUBLIN, Ohio, July 28, 2026 — Navista, Cardinal Health’s oncology practice alliance, today announced the appointment of Jeff Hunnicutt as Chief Operating Officer, effective August 3. In this role, Hunnicutt will help advance Navista’s continued growth, bringing operational expertise and strategic leadership to support an expanding alliance of physician-led practices committed to preserving the future of community oncology.

Hunnicutt brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across practice operations, technology and practice transformation to Navista. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Highlands Oncology Group, where he guided one of the nation’s leading community oncology practices through a period of significant expansion while advancing operational excellence, digital innovation and long-term sustainability.

Hunnicutt’s experience leading independent practices and oncology networks reflects the same principles that define Navista: empowering physician-led practices, preserving independence and creating opportunities for long-term growth.

“Throughout his career, Jeff has helped community oncology practices grow, innovate and thrive — all while keeping physicians and patients at the center of care,” said Navista General Manager Diana Verrilli. “Jeff’s deep community oncology experience and proven operational leadership will play a critical role in growing our alliance, supporting the long-term success of our member practices and enabling more patients to access high-quality, physician-led cancer care in their communities.”

Prior to Highlands, Hunnicutt served as Chief Operations Officer at Puget Sound-area practice Northwest Medical Specialties, where he held prior leadership roles in technology and operations. Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Director of the Quality Cancer Care Alliance, a founding organization of ONCare Alliance.
