Navista to showcase commitment to innovation in practice at 2026 COA Conference
DUBLIN, Ohio, April 22, 2026 – Navista, Cardinal Health’s oncology practice alliance, will highlight real‑world examples of innovation shaping the future of community oncology at the 2026 Community Oncology Alliance (COA) conference April 28–29 in Orlando. Through expert‑led sessions and exhibit hall engagement, Navista will demonstrate how its practice‑centered approach combining advanced services, technology and capital support is helping to advance care access and quality and preserve practice independence and sustainability amid an evolving oncology landscape.
“COA continues to be the premier forum for seeing innovation in practice across community oncology,” said Navista General Manager Diana Verrilli. “That same emphasis on innovation shapes how Navista engages with practices — valuing every practice and every voice to translate ideas into solutions to drive clinical, operational and financial performance. We are excited to showcase how our approach translates collaboration into impact at this year’s COA conference.”
At COA 2026, Navista will demonstrate its commitment to advancing community oncology innovation in both sessions and on the exhibit hall floor.
In “From Problem to Project: Case Studies in Oncology Quality Improvement” (April 28, 12:30 p.m. ET), Eileen Ehret, Navista VP, clinical ethics and compliance, will present a case study detailing how a Navista practice designed and implemented a clinical workflow to prevent medication ordering errors and improve patient safety.
In “The Impact of Politics & Policy on Community Oncology: Federal Policy Perspectives” (April 28, 3:30 p.m. ET) Jerrica Mathis, Cardinal Health VP, federal government relations, will offer insight into how developments in the White House and on Capitol Hill are shaping the policy landscape for practices both now and in future.
Navista’s newly appointed Chief Medical Officer Lalan Wilfong, MD, will also be onsite at COA, connecting with practice leaders to discuss how physician‑led perspectives and real‑world experience inform Navista’s approach to advancing personalized, patient-centered cancer care. Dr. Wilfong will also moderate the general session "Access & Affordability in the Era of Innovation: Cellular Therapies in Community Oncology” (April 29, 8:30 a.m. ET), where he will share his perspective on building and growing community-based cellular therapy programs.
In the exhibit hall, the Navista booth (Booth #301) will highlight how the alliance supports community oncology practices through insight‑driven collaboration and practical innovation that preserve their independence and legacy.
